Meet The Team

It's Time to Heal Your Wounds And Reveal Your Happiness

I get it! You are completely tired of feeling unhappy and frustrated. You need support!

My guess is that, you are searching through hundreds of therapist in Connecticut and can’t seem to find someone you truly connect with.

You’ve gone back and forth through online directories and even asked some of your friends for recommendations about the best therapist in Connecticut or even posted on Facebook for the most affordable therapist in FL, but yet you still haven’t found the right person.

You need a therapist that will not just nod and say “how does that make you feel?” You want a therapist that will connect and go into the trenches with you to pull you out!

Hopefully your search can end right here where we can establish the true connection you need!

Meet Nina!

Hi! I am so happy you have taken a step towards living a fulfilling and independent life. It can be tough to make the decision to finally put yourself first. I would be honored to be part of that process and to aid you on your path toward finding your own voice and strength. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I received my degree from Nova Southeastern University in Orlando. I am LGTBQIA+ affirming and my pronouns are she, her and hers. I have worked in the community health setting for 5+ years, providing in person and tele-health services for people living with a range of mental health struggles. I have worked with persons living with a history of complex trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and people learning to adjust to new environments and circumstances.

I am passionate about providing a safe space for people to do the hard work of self-reflection and find meaning and strength within themselves. This might mean that we must explore painful memories that could be hindering growth, but my goal is that you learn to accept and cherish your own abilities, unique ways of thinking and life choices. I focus on psychoeducation which means I want to empower you to learn how to navigate what can be a complicated process involving a diagnosis. This allows you to make educated decisions about your own life and how to manage the difficulties that mental health issues can bring to your life. I work as your partner to foster independence, increase self-esteem, and help folks find their own way of managing their needs so they can feel confident in their decision making.
