I do not accept any other form of insurance however if you are familiar with your insurance provider’s benefits you may be eligible to see out of network providers.  A “Superbill” will be given for you to submit to your insurance carrier for them to reimburse. If insurance does not reimburse it will be the client’s responsibility to pay

I do accept clients who DO HAVE insurance but wish to pay out of pocket and pay privately.

Why Pay Privately?

Paying privately provides you the client the privacy and control you need of your health records and treatment.

When using insurance you are agreeing to accepting a clinical diagnosis and the dictation of the number of sessions you can have as deemed fit by insurance companies. Insurance claims, in or out of network requires a psychiatric diagnosis.  Once you file a claim, that information is available to all who process that claim.

If you choose to pay privately you will not be subjected to invasive audits by insurance companies in your clinical records.

If you are in need of couples counseling many insurance companies will not pay for the help you need. The only way for insurance companies to approve of paying is for a diagnosis to be given to one member of the couple.

The choice is yours, but always choose the choice that lends you the help you need whether you use insurance or private pay!
